The highly anticipated draw for the Dudley Eve Trophy semi-finals has taken place at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence, setting the stage for two thrilling clashes between the island's top football clubs.
The four teams who qualified for the last four include the three group winners—Dandy Town Hornets (Group A), Devonshire Cougars (Group B), and the St. George’s Colts (Group C)—along with the best second-place finisher, the PHC Zebras.
The draw has pitted the group winners against each other and the lone second-place qualifier.
In the first semi-final, Devonshire Cougars will take on the PHC Zebras. The two teams are familiar with each other, having played out a 2-2 draw during the group stage. The Cougars, who have gone unbeaten in the competition, will face a PHC side that also went undefeated to earn their spot.
In the second semi-final, the St. George’s Colts will face the Dandy Town Hornets. This will be a fascinating matchup between two clubs. Both teams topped their respective groups, and the winner will have a chance to claim silverware in the final.
Both semi-finals are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, October 22nd. The venue for the matches is yet to be decided.
