The Ministry of Housing and Municipalities wishes to inform motorists that the Bermuda Triathlon Association AON Ltd. Mixed Team Relay Triathlon will occur on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, between 8:00 am and 10:15 am.
The triathlon commences and concludes at the car park opposite to Clearwater Beach. The participants proceed North along Cooper's Island Road until reaching the roundabout. They exit West onto Southside Road and continue on Southside Road to the turnaround. The participants traverse the turn to continue East on Southside Road. They proceed to the roundabout, where they exit onto Cooper's Island Road to the finish line.
The triathlon will commence on Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at 8:00 am and is expected to conclude by 10:15 am. Police Officers and Race Marshals will be present to direct traffic along the route. All motorists are expected to use caution and avoid collisions with the race participants. Motorists are asked to follow the instructions given by the Police Officers and Race Marshals to assist with traffic control for this event.
All roads along the race route will be closed for the duration of the event.
The Ministry of Housing and Municipalities wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result. In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorized to "close off" streets or portions of streets and authorize parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
