Bermudian tennis player Asia-Leigh Hollis has helped her Wheaton College (Mass.) teammates secure their first victory of the season, defeating Bridgewater State University 6-1 at the Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts in Massachusetts.
Hollis was instrumental in the win, contributing victories in both doubles and singles.
In the number 2 doubles match, she teamed up with Laila Haraj-Sai to take on Morgan Smith and Sarah Pothier, where the Wheaton duo delivered a decisive 6-3 victory.
Hollis then carried that momentum into her number 4 singles match. She faced Pothier again, this time securing a comfortable straight-sets win with scores of 6-1, 6-3, to help seal the overall victory for her team.
