Bermudian athlete Krista Dyer has completed her weigh-in ahead of her competition at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China. Representing the Bermuda Sanshou Association, Dyer will compete in the Sanda discipline, having successfully made the 68.8kg weight limit.
Dyer, who is accompanied by Bermuda Sanshou Association President Garon Wilkinson, is one of thousands of athletes taking part in the 12th edition of the multi-sport event, which runs from August 7th - 17th. The Sanda/Wushu competition is one of 34 sports being contested at the Games.
The Bermudian will be hoping to build on a successful recent run of form, which saw her claim a Silver Medal at the Sanda World Cup earlier this year. The Sanda competition at the World Games will be run in a single-knockout format.
