Bermudian pickleball player Imani Phillips has concluded her campaign at the 2025 English Open, which was held at the Telford International Centre, with a victory in the Women's Singles Open Group C.
The tournament, which features 40 courts with an acrylic surface, saw Phillips compete in a highly competitive group. After a strong start in her opening match, she fell 11-1 to Domenika Turkovic and then narrowly lost 11-10 to Chantal Griffiths.
Phillips bounced back in her third match to secure her first win of the tournament, defeating Isabella Nelson 11-8. In her final group match, she was defeated 11-8 by Alexa Schull, finishing fourth in her group with a record of one win and three losses.
