Narraway Edges White in BRCC's Unique Challenge

The Bermuda Rouleurs Cycling Club (BRCC) delivered a unique and demanding challenge this weekend, combining a Stage One Hill Climb with a Stage Two Flat Sprint course in St. David's to determine the overall fastest cyclists.

The innovative format tested riders' versatility and power, drawing participation across various youth and adult divisions within Bermuda's cycling community.

In the hotly contested main event, Nicholas Narraway emerged victorious with a combined time of 3 minutes, 45.48 seconds (3:45.48), narrowly edging out fellow competitor Conor White by less than a second. Jackson Langley rounded out the podium in third place.

Narraway's winning performance saw him clock a Stage One Hill Climb time of 1:49.64, followed by a Stage Two Flat Sprint time of 1:55.84.

Conor White, who pushed Narraway to the wire, finished with a combined time of 3:46.37. His Stage One time was 1:50.43, and his Stage Two time was 1:55.94.

Jackson Langley's third-place finish came with a combined time of 3:52.85, consisting of a Stage One time of 1:53.46 and a Stage Two time of 1:59.39.

In the Women’s Division, Hanah Cannon claimed the victory, finishing 27th overall with a combined time of 5:28.84.

The B Division race was won by Rhys Pearce, who secured 8th place overall with a combined time of 4:34.37. Meanwhile, Neil MacGuinness was the winner of the B Division, clocking a combined time of 4:28.52 and finishing an impressive 5th overall in the entire competition.

The BRCC's innovative time trial format provided a dynamic racing experience and a true test of Bermuda's cycling talent.
