The Temple of Tennis Junior Challenger Tournament reached its thrilling conclusion at the Port Royal Tennis Courts today, with a day packed full of finals and decisive round-robin matches showcasing Bermuda's brightest young tennis stars.
The Under 12 Boys Division title went to Trystan Thompson, who capped off a strong tournament with a straight-sets victory over Ollie Anderson, winning 6-4, 6-2 in the final showdown.
Chloe Mcbrearty proved to be the standout player of the day, securing two coveted titles. In the Under 12 Girls final, Mcbrearty displayed dominant form, defeating Lee Terceira in a comprehensive 6-0, 6-0 straight-sets victory. Mcbrearty then went on to claim her second crown of the day in the Under 14 Girls Final, once again defeating Terceira in straight sets, this time with a 6-0, 6-1 scoreline.
The Under 12 Girls C-Final saw Arianna Parra Delgado emerge victorious, defeating Francesca Cressall-Haycock in a decisive straight-sets encounter, 6-1, 6-1.
The Under 14 Boys Round-Robin Division also saw further action on the final day. Ollie Anderson recorded a straight-sets win over Riley Maybury, 6-4, 6-3, while James Casling-Hall also secured a straight-sets victory against Maybury, winning 6-0, 7-6 in a tighter second set.
Finally, in the Under 16 Boys Round-Robin Division, Jadon Spriggs battled through a three-set encounter to secure a hard-fought victory over Tobiah Goodchild, eventually winning 0-6, 7-6, 6-3.
