Tariq Simons took to the court in his First Round match of the Casely $10,000 Clay Court Championships in Hollywood, Florida.
Simons took on Ian O’jon from the United States, he would go down in straight sets 6-2, 7-5.
In the First Set, Simons would battle O’jon, the pair would play 17 deuce games with the score at 3 – 1 to O’jon, at 1 - 1 in the second set, Simons ad 12 deuce games before falling.
Rain would alt play for almost two hours, before they returned to the court, but Simons could not force a third set.
