A day after Antoine Richards failed to start the SuperSport Race 1 – SuperSport during the Suzuki White Lightning AMA Pro Superbike Nationals at the Virginia International Raceway Alton, VA, Richards finished 20th in the SuperSport Race 2 – SuperSport.
Day 2 of the AMA Pro Road Racing race at the 2.25-mile Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Va., in the opening day of competition for the Suzuki White Lightning AMA Pro Nationals presented by Foremost Insurance, was AMA Pro SuperSport. J.D. Beach took his Rockwall Engineering Yamaha to a dominant win over Huntley Nash on his LTD Racing Yamaha and Dustin Dominguez on his Dustin Dominguez Racing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
Richards riding his Top Gun Suzuki GSX-R600 only managed to complete 8 of the 18 laps recording his fastest lap which was clocked at 1:33.130.
