Bermuda Go Down to Costa Rica

Gavin Manders Won his Match

In their Second match in the Davis Cup Americas Zone Group III in San Juan, Puerto Rico Bermuda have gone down 2 – 1 to Costa Rica.

Playing at the Parque Central de San Juan, Calle Cerra Final Stadiun, David Thomas took to the court first going down in straight sets 6 – 0, 6 – 1 to Ignaci Roca.

Bermuda’s number One Ranked Gavin Manders took on Pablo Nunez, Manders won the first set 6 – 4, before going down in the second set 6 – 2. <>Manders then rebounded to win the third and final set 6 – 4 to level the scores at 1 – 1.

Na’im Azhar and Gavin Manders paired up for the doubles and took on Fernando Martinez-Manrique and Roca, the Bermuda pair went down in straight sets 6 – 0, 6 – 2.
