Jyire Mitchell is well on the way to recovery after an accident that left him with two broken wrist.
Mitchell in preparation for the Regional Finals at Aonia Pass in Washington, Georgia, was practicing on two double jumps at the Motor Sports Park here in Bermuda where he crashed and broke both wrists.
Mitchell who is the Bermuda Motorcross Associations 2009/10 85CC 9-11 Age Group Class Champion has been forced to stay at home while his younger brother Senoj will compete at Aonia Pass in both the 50cc and 65cc classes this weekend, 12th and 13th June.
Jyire, however, is due to participate in second rounds of Regional’s on 26th and 27th June at Pleasure Valley in Armagh, Pensylvania.
