Action in the Bermuda Ball Hockey League resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double header that produced 22 goals.
Hamilton Princess 5 Positive Image Dental 11
A total of sixteen goals were scored in the opener, as the Positive Image Dental defeated the Hamilton Princess 11 – 5.
Tom Duggan led Positive Image Dental with a hat-trick, while Shane Matchett, Richard Campbell, and Ryan Sulley all scored two goals each. Mathieu Desjardins and Matt Mcphail both scored once.
Matthew Benson, and Christopher Merritt scored two goals each for the Hamilton Princess, with Drew Daly adding the other.
Appleby 4 ACT 2
In the nightcap, Appleby defeated ACT 4 – 2.
Shannon Gosse gave Appleby the lead in the first period, Ben Willshaw equalized for ACT in the second period, but James Amaral would put Appleby back in front to end the second period leading 2 – 1.
Appleby went ahead 3 – 1 when Kyle Harvey scored in the third period, Willshaw would add his second goal of the game in the third period for ACT to make it 3 – 2, but Amaral would then add his second of the game in the third period to restore the Appleby two-goal lead.
