The 2014 Commonwealth Games for Bermuda Athletes got underway in the Village with the Flag Raising Ceremony.
Minister of Community, Culture and Sports, Wayne Scott, Bermuda Olympic Association President Judy Simons, Bermuda Olympic Association General Secretary Phillip Guishard as well as the Permanent Secretary to the Minister of Sports Wayne Carey all joined the Athletes as the Bermuda Flag Was Raised indicating that Bermuda were indeed at the Games.
