Scott Barnes did not have the weekend he was looking for in Utah. Barnes had another 4 sessions on track as the SKUSA Pro Tour’s 12th edition of the Spring Nationals Round 4 got underway at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, Utah.
In the Warm-Up Round of the Shifter Masters Class, Barnes finished 4th, with his fastest lap time of 59.244.
Barnes would move up to 3rd in the Qualifying Round, with his fastest lap of 56.682, Barnes would then finish 2nd in the Pre-Final race with a 12 lap time of 11:38.998.
In the final, Did Not Finish, an even more frustrated Barnes from the day before said, “I finally found the speed I needed today, got the Kart working right, I had the holeshot in the Final, I was leading the Final race first lap and Vincent Cossard hit me spinning me out, Utah wasn’t nice to me, but time to regroup, refocus, and now focus on Indy.
