In the Final, Barnes would once again finish second behind Musser in the 20 lap race. Barnes was clocked at 21:10.448, with Musser clocking 20:56.601.
Prior to the start of the day’s racing organizers presented the Overall Trophies from the 2020 Pro Tour as they did not present the Trophies last year.
Barnes said, “Awesome day here Nola Motor Sports Superkarts USA Pro Tour round 1, I finished 2nd in the Pre Final after starting in 3rd, it put us on the front row for the final, had a 20 lap BATTLE for 2nd/3rd, this track is so hard, makes for a super long and physical 20 lap final!
Ended the Final in 2nd, I’ll take that behind a super-fast 4 time SKUSA Shifter Champion.”
