Trey Mallory and his No. 1 seed UNC Wilmington teammates won the doubles point and added three singles victories to defeat No. 3 Elon, 4 - 1, in the championship match of the 2023 Colonial Athletic Association Men's Tennis Championship at William & Mary's McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
UNCW has won three consecutive conference championships and nine titles overall (2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023).
Sophomore Mallory delivered the clincher – his third of the season – by outlasting Ben Zipay, 7-6, 1-6, 6-2, at No. 6 Singles Spot.
