After defeating Virginia Union 4-0 in the Quarter-Finals of the CIAA Women's Tennis Championship, Alexcie Burrows and her Virginia State University Women's Tennis teammates the No. 2-seeded were upset in the Semi-Finals by Johnson C. Smith 4-2.
Virginia State's Makensie Pago and Burrows put up a good fight at the No.2 Doubles spot, before ultimately dropping the match to Shay'Tonya Missick and Chengeto Moyana 7-5.
Unfortunately, Burrow was unable to play her Singles match due to an injury.
