It was a mixed day for Daniel Phillips as the J60 San Jose Tennis Tournament in Costa Rica continued. Philips would take to the court for Singles and Doubles.
In his Second Round Singles match, Phillips took on Michael Kouame from France, Phillips would fall in straight sets 7-6, 7-6.
Phillips would then team up with Luis Carvalho from Brazil in the Doubles, they would defeat Canadian pair Owen Nguyen and Winston Zhang in a three-set battle.
Nguyen and Zhang won the first set 7-6, Phillips and Carvalho leveled the match at 1 – 1 when they won the second set 7-6, Phillips and Carvalho won the third set 10-7 to advance.
