Trey Mallory and his UNC Wilmington Men's Tennis teammates won four singles matches to rally from an early deficit and defeat visiting South Carolina State, 4 - 2, in the Men's Tennis regular-season finale at the UNCW Courts.
Mallory and his doubles partner Gabe Hurtado went down 6-4 to Pedro Sasso and Zhanger Almashey as S.C. State took a close doubles point.
Trailing 1-0 after the doubles, freshman Mallory defeated Ivan Pauluychenko, in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, at No. 5 singles spot.
