Daniel Phillips is competing in Guatemala, Phillips took to the court for the ITF J4 Guatemala Qualifiers.
In his first match Phillips defeated Jigme Balselro from Guatemala in straight sets 6-1, 6-4, Phillips would next take on the fourth seed in the qualifiers Cowen Lau from Indonesia, Phillips would defeat him also in straight sets 6-0, 7-5.
In his final qualifying match-up and a spot in the Main Draw, Phillips took on Luka Bojicic Ono from Brazil, Phillips would advance to the Main Draw with a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
