All eyes were on the court as the tournament number 1 seed Tariq Simons took on his David Cup teammate James Finnigan, Finnigan would advance with a straight-sets victory 7-6, 6-2. Another Davis Cup member Gavin Manders also took to the court and defeated Charles Boisvert in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
Dexter Snaith defeated Tobiah Goodchild in a three-setter in the Under 12 Division 6-3, 1-6, 10-6, while Kyan Hands defeated Tristan Petit 6-4, 1-6, 6-1 in their Under 14 battle.
