Due to continued inclement weather and the probability of continued rain throughout the weekend, the 2021 Lone Star Conference Men's Tennis Championships has been canceled.
James Finnigan and his St. Mary's Men's Tennis teammates were denied the opportunity to advance to the 2021 NCAA Division II Championship.
Finnigan and his teammates were due to face the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in the Lone Star Conference Championship, but per Lone Star Conference (LSC) policy, the winner of the regular season round-robin will be awarded the league’s automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division II Championship.
Due to the University of Tyler’s status as an NCAA provisional member, they are not eligible for the NCAA postseason. As the LSC's regular-season runner-up based on tiebreakers, Cameron was granted the automatic bid for Men's Tennis.
