In a match that came down to the wire, Luke Attride-Stirling and his Adelphi University Men's Tennis teammates battled to a 4 - 3 win over Bentley University in a Northeast-10 Conference tilt in Waltham.
It was Adelphi's first win over Bentley since April 4th, 2017. Adelphi has also won three of their last four matches, en route to improving to 3-2 in NE10 play.
The contest bubbled down to the No. 4 singles match between Luke Attride-Stirling and Alexander Novins.
Stirling fell into an early one-set hole, but a second-set 7-6 (7-3) tiebreaker turned the tide in Stirling's favor and ultimately led to a dominant 10-1 performance in the third set that won it for Adelphi.
Stirling and Andrew Ray remained undefeated at the No. 3 Doubles spot, after prevailing over Sergio Blanco and Connor Aulson 7-5.
