The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association hosted the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Senior School Tennis Championships.
In the Girls A Division Shelby Medieros from Somersfield Academy defeated Kaila Harvey from the Berkeley Institute 4-0, and then Medieros defeated Pier Simons from CedarBridge Academy 4-1, Harvey returned to defeat Simons 4-1.
The Girls B Division saw Jahzuena Bradshaw-Douglas from the Berkeley Institute defeat Brijette Basden from the CedarBridge Academy 4-1, she then defeated Morgan Kempe from Somersfield Academy 4-0 and then Bradshaw-Douglas defeated Lysmeiri Santana from CedarBridge 4-0. Basden defeated Kempe 4-3 and then she defeated Santana 4-0, Kempe defeated Santana 4-0.
In the Boy’s A Division CedarBridge Academy’s Jaire Lawrence-Salaam defeated Keeron Wilson from the Berkeley Institute 4-0, he then defeated Tyler Trott from Berkeley Institute 4-0, Lawrence-Salaam finished off by defeating Rayquan Woodley from CedarBridge Academy 4-0. Wilson went down 4-1 to Trott, Wilson also defeated Woodley 4-0 and Trott defeated Woodley 4-2.
Cairo Morton from Somersfield Academy and Samuel Simmons from CedarBridge Academy both won two matches and loss one in the Boy’s B Division, Morton defeated Jaire Fough-Smith from the Berkeley Institute 4-0, Morton then defeated Denzel Johnson from the Berkeley Institute 4-2, before he went down 4-3 to Simmons. Simmons also defeated Fough-Smith 4-0, but he went down 4-3 to Johnson. Johnson defeated Fough-Smith in the final group match 4-0.
