Taking on Streetly the match was abandoned with Handsworth 81/3 in reply to Streetly’s 190/8.
The match had been reduced to a 25-over match with Streetly batting first, Akbar Ahmed was the top scorer with 78, Nicholas Jerome was the pick of the Handsworth bowlers with figures of 3-0-32-3, Jeffers bowled 2-0-20-1, and Leverock bowled 5-0-20-0.
When the heavens opened for the final time during the match Handsworth in the 12th over had Leverock at the crease on 19 off 10 balls, he had hit 2 fours and 1 six.
