Kamau Leverock and his Titans teammates had a mixed day in the Houston Open 2022, winning their first game, before falling short in their second game of the day.
The Titans would take on the Field Managers Thunders in their morning match and they would win by 5 wickets.
The Field Managers Thunders won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 105, Cody Chetty was their top scorer with 54 not out, while Imran Khan was the pick of the Titans bowlers returning figures of 4-0-17-3.
In reply the Titans scored 108/5 in 14.1 overs, Roshon Primus, and Sohail Tanveer both scored 31 not out, while Leverock added 20. Junad Thinders was the pick of the Field Managers Thunders bowlers with figures of 4-0-22-3.
In the second match of the day the Titans took on the Nepali Rhinos, and would fall by 4 Runs.
The Nepali Rhinos won the toss and elected to bat, they would score 195/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Anthony Bramble was the top scorer with a knock of 96 not out, while Sohail Tanveer was the pick of the Titans bowlers with figures of 4-0-11-1.
In reply the Titans were bowled all out for 191, Leverock and Primus got them off to a solid start scoring 86 off the first 8 overs, before Leverock fell for 47 off 26 balls hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes, while Primus was the top scorer with a knock of 53. Sanjay Krishnamurthi was the pick of the Nepali Rhinos bowlers with figures of 3-0-25-4.
