Derbyshire 2nd XI have defeated Kamau Leverock and his Nottinghamshire 2nd teammates by 63 run in a rain effected match.
With most of the first day washed out Derbyshire 2nd XI batted first and they would score 419/4 in 96 overs, Nottinghamshire looking to make a game out of it declared at the end of Day Two on 69/1, Derbyshire would then forfeit their Second Inning hoping Nottinghamshire would chase the target set of 350 to win, but Leverock and his teammates were bowled out for 287.
In their 2nd inning Leverock was the top scorer with 65 not out off 55 deliveries, he hit 5 fours and 5 sixes in his knock, Leverock was invited to play with Nottinghamshire after training with the team last week, he has some match practice before heading to Malaysia with the Bermuda team.
