The Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) announced a total of 32 people were presented their Level 1 and Level 2 coaching course certificates. In November 2016, English Cricket Board certified trainers, Richard Hall (County Performance Coach) and Dan Feist (Head of Cricket Operations, Surrey County) visited Bermuda to deliver both the Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses.
Minister for Social Development and Sport, Nandi Outerbridge stated, “I am encouraged by the continued investment in development by the BCB. It is also pleasing the see so many people looking to give back to our national sport via providing quality and modern coaching. Congratulations to all participants."
Lloyd Fray, President of the Bermuda Cricket Board stated, “On behalf of the Board, I would like to congratulate all the recent graduates of the recent Level 1 and 2 courses. I am pleased to note, many of whom have already committed to coaching in the BCB’s youth programs and within various club programs. I am also pleased to mention that there are a number of seasoned coaches who re-took their qualification to ensure they are at the forefront of some of the latest coaching techniques. The Coaching Committee has met several times with the coaches and is looking forward to their active involvement in Bermuda cricket.”
