In the first ever Western County Cup match to be played at the PHC Stadium saw a crowd treated to an entertaining day of Cricket. Willow Cuts won the toss and elected to bat scoring 242 all out after 44.2 overs. Solomon Burrows was the top scorer with 76, while Jacobi Robinson added 71, Steven Bremar returned bowling figures of 10-1-43-5 to lead the Warwick Workmen’s Club bowing attack, while Chare Smith bowled 9.2-0-54-3.
In reply Warwick Workmen’s Club loss wickets on a regular basis before being bowled out for 155 in 35.1 overs, Jordan DeSilva was their top scorer with 37. Sheroy Fubler led the Willow Cuts bowling with figures of 6-0-28-3.
