President of the St. George’s Cricket Club Neil Paynter has confirmed to Islandstats.com that OJ Pitcher will lead the Challengers in the 2015 Annual Cup Match Classic.
The match this year will be played at the Wellington Oval on July 30th and 31st.
For St. George’s Cricket Club, Pitcher brings a wealth of experience, having represented Bermuda in the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, has been playing in the Classic since 1999.
Pitcher has also led the St. David’s Cricket Club to Premier Division titles in the past and the President of the Challengers feels confident that he can fulfil the task as hand.
Pitcher was crowned the Cup Match MVP back in 2006.
