The decision that have been made by those who make the decisions are running closely behind the unbelievable issues facing FIFA.
The American Cricket Federation (ACF) acknowledged the recent action taken by the International Cricket Council (ICC) with regard to the Governance of Cricket in the USA and the suspension of USA Cricket Association.
In a media release, the ACF noted that it was committed to a continuation of its role in leading and reshaping the future of cricket in America, for the benefit of all U.S. stakeholders.
The ACF also applauded the ICC's decision to allow the USA U-19 and Men's squads to participate in the ICC Americas Under-19 and ICC CWC T20 Qualifier tournaments.
'The players deserve the opportunity and ACF wishes all the US players well, as they prepare to represent this great country on the International stage,' the ACF noted.
Calling USACA’s suspension the end of a disappointing chapter in American cricket, the ACF observed that the event marks a new beginning.
During the past three years, the ACF has served the best interests of like-minded leagues and thousands of players across the country. According to the media release, the ACF's immediate priority will be to unify all leagues and clubs irrespective of past affiliations.
The ACF is looking forward to working with the ICC to establish common policies for fair and transparent representative governance. The release also stated that the ACF has already alerted its member leagues and clubs to expect participation in the discussion process as substantive proposals arise.
The organization invited all leagues, clubs and individual players to join the ACF family and publically endorse the principles of transparency, democracy, fairness and fiscal responsibility, the foundations upon which the American Cricket Federation was formed.
