Bermuda loss the toss in their seventh Group B Match of the ICC World Cup Twenty20 Qualifiers at the ICC Global Cricket Academy Oval Number Two in Dubai, Papua New Guinea decided to bat and scored 168/5 in their allotted 20 overs.
Mahuru Dai was their top scorer with 64 not out, while Tony Ura added 47, with figure of 4.0-0-28-2 Malachi Jones led the Bermuda bowling attack.
In reply David Hemp scored 64 from 49 deliveries, but Bermuda fell 25 runs short of the target only scoring 143/9 in 20 overs. Hemp hit seven fours and one six, while captain Janeiro Tucker added 42 from 25 hitting four fours and two sixes.
