In front of 2,374 spectators at the Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg, the Harrisburg City Islanders defeated the Bermuda Hogges 4 - 2.
Nate Baker gave the Islanders the lead 1 - 0 in the 6th minute when he converted from the penalty spot, Blenn Bean picked up a yellow card in the 13th minute, and four minutes later the Islanders doubled the lead when Brett Wiesner scored with David Schofield picking up an assist. Two minutes later the score was 3-0, when Ryan Heins scored. Jared Peniston entered the referees note book in the 26th minute when he picked up a yellow card.
The Hogges got themselves back in the game in the 43rd minute when ,b>John Barry Nusum scored from a Damon Ming pass to make it 3-1, the Hogges pulled with one when Omar Shakir scored in the 64th minute. Two minutes later Nusum was sent off, leaving the Hogges with 10 men, and down a goal with 27 minutes remaining.
Adam Clay forund the back of the net in the 73rd minute taking a pass from Schofield to give the Islanders the victory 4 - 2.
