The Island Soccer League’s two top League Goalscorers will spearhead their teams attack in the ISL Final set to take place on Tuesday August 5th at the National Sports Center.
Antoine Russell and Rohaan Simons have combined to score 58 league goals in 2 ISL seasons, Russell scored 4 times to lead the Storm into the final, while Simons found the back of the net twice in the Union win.
Union 4 Apex 2
The Union got 2 goals from Simons and single strikes from Joshua Butterfield and Lamaul Crofton as the Union got by Apex 4 - 2. Heyes Wolfe and Keston Lewis scored the goals for Apex.
Storm 7 Royal 6
As he did in the All-Star game Russell found the net 4 times, including the winner with 4:20 remaining in overtime. Jemeiko Jennings equalized for the Royal with 8 seconds remaining in regulation time sending the game into overtime.
Otis Minors, Sean Simmons and Angelo Simmons scored the other goals for the Storm, the Royal got two goals apiece from Jamie Smith and Dane Simmons while Aaron Lugo added the other.
