League leaders B&V maintained their relentless momentum at the top of the Commercial Bowling League table after securing a clinical 4-0 victory over tenth-placed First for the Day at Warwick Lanes.
The runaway pace-setters showed little sign of letting up, controlling the lanes throughout to take maximum points and tighten their grip on the title race.
The most eye-catching result of the round came higher up the standings, where third-placed Strike Force delivered a statement 4-0 whitewash over their second-placed rivals to blow the chasing pack wide open.
Elsewhere, fourth-placed Pin Heads stayed firmly in contention with a dominant 4-0 clean sweep of twelfth-placed Who Gives A Split, leaving the basement side searching for answers.
Lower down the order, eighth-placed Secret Weapons produced an impressive display to topple fifth-placed Rolling Pinners 3-1, while eleventh-placed Spare Parts gave their campaign a welcome boost with a 3-1 win over ninth-placed Pass The 24.
