Bermuda’s Damien Mathews and Dayvon Tucker returned to the lanes on Friday to maintain their steady form at the 2026 Pan American Bowling Champion of Champions in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Following the completion of the Men’s Singles division, the island pair shifted their focus to the Men’s Doubles at the Costa Rica Country Club Bowling Center, holding ninth place overall after the opening eight-game block with a combined total of 3,303 pins.
The Bermudian duo established a competitive rhythm early in the series, with Tucker leading the way in the opening rotation courtesy of a sharp 228 to set a solid baseline.
Mathews provided the highlight of the afternoon during the fourth game, finding his line across the pocket to roll a high game of 243.
The consistent pairing leaves Bermuda well positioned within the top ten of the Americas' premier field, with team and all-events standings set to unfold as the championship approaches its final stages on Saturday.
