Netball Bermuda will officially launch their 2026-27 Winter League campaign next weekend with the traditional opening ceremony at Bernard Park.
The showcase curtain-raiser will take place on Saturday, 17 October, bringing together players, club officials, umpires, and supporters from across the island's domestic divisions to mark the start of the new competitive season.
Proceedings will get under way at 10:45 AM, with the Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, Owen K. Darrell, set to attend as the guest of honour to officially welcome in the new campaign.
Should inclement weather disrupt outdoor plans, organisers have confirmed that the ceremony will be relocated to the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium in Devonshire.
The opening ceremony will precede the opening rounds of league fixtures, where senior and youth sides across Bermuda prepare to battle for domestic league and knockout honours over the winter months.
