The Netball Bermuda Summer League has drawn to a thrilling close, capping off a sensational season of domestic action at Bernard Park that showcased the rapidly rising depth and talent in the island's netball community.
Across both the traditional Women’s League and the highly competitive Coed League, the summer tournament delivered intense rivalries, tactical masterclasses, and standout individual performances.
In the Women's League, Devonshire Recreational Club asserted absolute dominance to finish comfortably at the top of the table with 22 points, lifting the coveted league title.
The race for the remaining podium spots came down to an agonizingly tight tiebreak. Both the Lady Stars and the PHC Lady Zebras finished their campaigns locked on 15 points apiece. Ultimately, it was the Lady Stars who snatched second place courtesy of a superior goal difference (+26), leaving the Lady Zebras to settle for a hard-fought third (+10).
The individual accolades reflected a brilliantly contested season across different clubs. League champions Devonshire Rec saw their star player, Demiqua Daniels, deservingly named the League MVP for her consistency and clinical game management.
Phoenix Blaze’s prolific forward Danielle Raynor ran away with the top goal scorer title, netting an astonishing 68 goals, while her teammate Krishay Tucker took home the League Attacker award.
The Coed League proved to be a high-scoring, electrifying affair completely dominated by the unstoppable Storm Chasers. They blew the competition away to claim the championship with a massive 50-point haul.
The Allshores Ballers secured a distant second place with 33 points, closely followed by the Bailey’s Bay Breezers in third on 31 points.
The story of the Coed division was undoubtedly Storm Chasers' talisman Antione Williams. In a truly historic individual campaign, Williams swept the major honors, claiming both the League MVP and the Top Goal Shooter award. He finished the summer with an incredible 190 goals—nearly double his nearest competitor.
