Bermuda Under-17 international Z’Ani Jennings has signed a formal academy scholarship with Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield United ahead of the 2026-27 Professional Development League season.
Jennings is one of 17 highly rated youngsters to put pen to paper at Bramall Lane, securing his progression into the Blades' prestigious youth setup.
The forward's path to the professional ranks in England was heavily shaped by the West Yorkshire Futsal Club in Huddersfield, where he spent a number of critical developmental years honing his technical skills before catching the eye of Sheffield United scouts last season.
Jennings’ background in the fast-paced, high-skill environment of futsal has given him a distinct technical edge. His ability to navigate tight spaces and his sharp decision-making saw him routinely excel against older age groups in national tournaments across England.
That explosive potential earned him a move to Yorkshire last year. Now securely tied down to a scholarship contract, the young Bermudian is well-placed to continue his development as the Blades prepare for their upcoming league campaign.
