Wolves 1 St. David’s 1
St. David’s entered this First Division make up match at the National Sports Center against Wolves needing a draw to join Hamilton Parish, Southampton Rangers and Somerset Eagles in the Premiers Dudley Eve Championship Cup competition.
Aaron Crockwell gave St. David’s the lead when a long ball forward saw him outpace the defense and score with a right footed shot.
The teams went to the break with St. David’s still leading 1 – 0.
In the second half, Wolves came out looking to get back into the match, St. David’s created several chances to go ahead 2 – 0, but in the 60th minute Keemo Smith scored for Wolves. Jason Davis challenged a defender and the goalkeeper, only to see the ball fall free to Smith who slotted the ball into an empty goal.
