Eight swimmers aged 10 to 13 from Bermuda's Harbour Swim Club competed at the 2026 GCST Mark McCaw Summer Classic in Fort Myers, Florida.
Harbour's swimmers delivered an impressive performance, recording numerous personal best times, achieving qualifying standards ranging from AAA to B level, and earning several medals.
Competing in the highly competitive 13–14 age group, Zara Bule and Evelyn Fahy both recorded multiple personal bests. Their performances were particularly noteworthy as both athletes balance their swimming training with triathlon competition.
The club's younger swimmers enjoyed considerable success in the 12-and-under divisions.
Myla Desjardins, competing in the 10-and-under category, won Gold in the 50m Freestyle with an AAA qualifying time and added a Bronze medal in the 100m Freestyle, where she achieved an AA standard.
Aine Fahy captured a Bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke while achieving her first-ever AA qualifying standard.
Charlotte Henderson secured three Bronze medals, finishing third in the 200m Backstroke (A standard), 100m Backstroke (AA standard), and 50m Backstroke (A standard).
Eva Desjardins earned Silver medals in the 400m Individual Medley (A standard) and 50m Backstroke (AA standard). She also qualified for A finals in all of her events, demonstrating impressive consistency throughout the meet.
Luke Thompson added to Harbour's medal tally with a Silver medal in the 50m Backstroke.
Harbour's youngest competitor, Pippa Henderson, enjoyed her first overseas competition experience and recorded several personal best performances.
The strong results highlighted Harbour Swim Club's continued development and the commitment of its young athletes, who represented Bermuda with distinction against strong international competition.
