The Bermuda Netball Summer League season made an explosive return to action at Bernard Park with a packed schedule of high-scoring fixtures across both the Women’s League and the Coed Division.

In the Women’s League, the PHC Lady Zebras put on a clinical display to secure a commanding 30-12 victory over the Bermuda College Chargers. Nisaiah Berkeley was the undisputed star of the match, delivering a shooting masterclass to rack up 26 goals and rightly claim the Most Valuable Player award for PHC.

Debre Evans and Terita Bean chipped in with two goals apiece to complete the scoring, while Keunna Dill was recognized as the top attacker and Jordyn Ming anchored the backline as the standout defender. The College Chargers fought valiantly, led by a nine-goal effort from Kammie Mills, two from Sydney Santos, who was named her team's MVP, and a single strike from Uni Simmons, with Deontae Scott taking top defensive honors.

The evening’s second women's clash saw the Netball Bermuda Under-21 Academy march to a convincing 24-11 win over Tropical Storm. Jamir Hatherley led the charge for the young academy side with 10 goals, earning the MVP award for her stellar performance. Callia Joell added 8 goals, Alexia Pascall scored 4, and Sioma Rudo added two goals, with Saniyah Govia named best attacker and Naomi Crofton taking the defensive award.

Tropical Storm’s resistance was led by Hailey Odouri with 4 goals, Samantha Morgan with 3, Mayah Williams-Johnson with 2, and single tallies from Nala Richardson and Selah Tuzo, who was named Storm's MVP alongside top attacker Vongai Benza and defender Tjaia Butler.

Over in the Coed Division, the Baileys Bay Breezers turned on the style to dismantle Somerset 24-4 in a deeply one-sided affair. Druw Bascome was in unstoppable form under the post, scoring a spectacular 17 goals to claim the MVP award. Kessiah Jackson provided excellent support with 7 goals to take the top attacker accolade, while Mali Smith was named the standout defender.

Somerset found the going tough but managed to answer through a three-goal contribution from Ramiah Brangman and a single point from Malik Joel, with Simeon Burrows taking Somerset's MVP, Brangman named top attacker, and Jeze Butterfield named best defender.

The final match of the night provided the closest drama of the round as the Atlantic Aces edged out REN Re and Friends in an 18-16 thriller. The Aces relied on a balanced scoring attack with Charlie Evans and Sinae Simmons both netting 9 goals. Lexi Heywood took home the MVP award for the Aces, with Kyle Godfrey named top attacker and Jana Philips outstanding in defense.

REN Re pushed them all the way down to the final whistle, powered by 9 goals from Naron Woods, 5 from Krishay Tucker, and 2 from Sonja Townsend. Kiante Lightbourne was named MVP for REN Re, with Aaron Woods taking the attacker award and Jamie Cedenio chosen as the top defender in a highly competitive contest.
