Golfer Daniel Muso helped McDaniel College secure a top-five finish at the Fred B. Kravetz Invitational, battling through a demanding final round at the Irondequoit Country Club.
The Green Terror squad finished the tournament with a collective team score of 35-over-par, enough to cement fifth place in a competitive field. For Muso, the weekend was a showcase of resilience on a course that punished anything less than total precision.
Following a steady opening round, Muso carded a six-over-par 76 on the final day. His scorecard reflected the "up and down" nature of the Rochester layout, featuring two birdies and nine pars. However, a testing stretch on the back nine saw him record six bogeys and a costly double bogey, bringing his tournament total to eight-over-par.
Despite the late setbacks, the Bermudian’s performance was enough to earn him a share of 17th place on the individual leaderboard. It marks another consistent outing for Muso, who remains one of the most reliable scoring assets for the McDaniel program as they move into the heart of the spring season.
The team will now look to build on this solid foundation as they prepare for the upcoming conference championships, with Muso expected to play a leading role in their pursuit of silverware.
