A new standard in youth football development is being introduced this summer, as Trevo Academy launches a program combining high-quality training with leadership, discipline, and personal growth.
Founded by Remy Coddington, Ajani Burchill, and Sincere Hall, the academy draws on their experience within professional systems at AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United F.C., Aston Villa F.C., and Hull City A.F.C. to introduce consistent, high-standard training for boys and girls aged 8 to 13.
The program operates on a two-week cohort model, with groups capped at 20 players to ensure quality coaching and individual attention. Alongside daily football training and tactical development, participants will engage in leadership sessions focused on discipline, confidence, and accountability, supported by education in strength, recovery, and nutrition. Spaces are limited to maintain a high-quality environment and provide a structured, safe, and disciplined setting for young players throughout the summer. The program is open to players of all experience levels.
“Our objective is to bring the standards we experienced overseas into a structured local setting,” said Program Lead Remy Coddington. What sets this program apart is the level of discipline and accountability we apply every day — not just in how players train, but in how they develop as individuals. This is about preparing young people for the demands of higher-level environments, both on and off the pitch.”
Trevo Academy has partnered with North Village Community Club, with the program utilizing the club’s facilities as part of a shared commitment to strengthening youth development and community impact.
“North Village is proud to support this initiative, especially as it is led by players who began their journey with the club,” said DeVrae Tankard. “Seeing them give back in this way speaks to the strength of the community and the importance of creating positive pathways for the next generation.”
The academy is further supported by an experienced team including Coach Stephan Jones, Strength & Conditioning Lead Melissa Smith, and Team Physician Dr. Amne Osseryan, reinforcing a holistic approach to player development.
Registration is now open, with full details available at TrevoAcademy.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations looking to support youth development.
