Nifty Rollers Crowned Continental Bowling League Champions

IslandStats.com
The Nifty Rollers have been confirmed as the 2025/26 Continental Bowling League champions following a decisive final round of action at Warwick Lanes.

In a season finale that lived up to the billing, the league leaders faced off against their closest rivals, the Under Dawgs, in a high-stakes encounter to settle the title. The Rollers demonstrated the clinical consistency that has defined their campaign, securing a 17-10 victory to spark celebrations at the iconic Bermuda venue.

The result left the Under Dawgs to settle for the runner-up spot, as they were unable to find the strikes necessary to overhaul a resilient Nifty Rollers outfit in the closing frames.

The battle for the final podium spot was far more one-sided. The third-place Cubs produced a dominant performance, dismantling the fourth-place Astronauts with a commanding 25-2 victory. The win ensured the Cubs finished their season on a high, while the Astronauts struggled to find any rhythm in the face of relentless pressure.

Elsewhere in the standings, the Odd Balls secured fifth place overall after a solid 18-9 win over Spicenix, who concluded their season in sixth.

The most emphatic margin of the day came in the clash between the league's lower-ranked sides. New Hope produced a vintage performance to climb into eighth place, overwhelming The Invaders 22.5-4.5. The result was a disappointing end for The Invaders, who finished the season in seventh, while ninth-place Sunset sat out the final day of proceedings with a bye.

As the pins were cleared and the trophies presented, the focus for the Continental Bowling League now shifts toward the off-season, following a year that saw the Nifty Rollers set a new benchmark for excellence on the Warwick hardwood.
