Veteran experience and rising form collided in the East End as Quinton Sherlock and Dwayne Pearman finished deadlocked at the top of the leaderboard during the latest round of the 2026 Moongate Tour.
The picturesque Five Forts Golf Club provided a stern test for the island’s elite, but both Sherlock and Pearman managed to navigate the coastal breezes to sign for identical rounds of one-under-par 61. Sherlock’s path to the summit was built on a foundation of consistency, carding 13 pars and three birdies against just two dropped shots. Pearman, meanwhile, took a more adventurous route to the same score, offsetting a bogey and a costly double-bogey with a flurry of four birdies and 12 pars to claim his share of the lead.
The battle for the final podium spots was equally congested, with a three-way tie for third place as Kenny Leseur, Adam Perry, and Josh Hines all finished on even par. Leseur and Perry mirrored each other’s scorecards with three birdies and 12 pars apiece, while Hines produced a roller-coaster round featuring four birdies, two bogeys, and a double-bogey to remain in the hunt.
Further down the standings, Nick Jones and Jamie MacMillan occupied the sixth spot after both carded one-over-par 63s. Jones relied on 13 pars to steady his round, while MacMillan proved to be the master of safety, recording 15 pars and only a single birdie during his afternoon in St George’s.
In the team competition, the Turtle Hill trio of Adam Perry, Jamie MacMillan, and Chris Smith secured the clubhouse lead with a combined six-over-par. Their disciplined collective performance was enough to hold off a late charge from Ocean View, who finished two strokes back in second at eight-over, while the Port Royal Founders rounded out the top three with a total of 12-over-par.
