Bermudian swimming sensation Elijah Daley continued his impressive run of form, representing the University of Toronto at the 2026 Toronto Grand Prix.
Competing at the renowned Toronto Swim Club, Daley faced off against an elite field in the long-course event, further cementing his reputation as one of the most versatile swimmers in the collegiate circuit.
The highlight of the meet for Daley came in the Men’s 200 LC Meter Butterfly. In a grueling test of endurance and technique, the University of Toronto standout surged through the final 50 meters to claim a third-place finish.
Daley touched the wall in 2:05.61, securing a well-deserved bronze medal and vital points for the Varsity Blues.
Daley’s busy schedule also saw him feature in the shorter sprint distances. In the Men’s 100 LC Meter Butterfly, he secured a seventh-place finish in a competitive final, clocking a time of 56.51.
Proving his prowess across multiple disciplines, he then shifted focus to the Men’s 100 LC Meter Breaststroke. Daley produced a powerful performance to finish fifth, stopping the clock at 1:06.98.
