Moseley Helps McKendree Sink UMSL in Regular Season Final

IslandStats.com
Bermudian senior Finn Moseley and his McKendree University teammates delivered a commanding performance to close out their regular season, defeating conference rivals University of Missouri-St. Louis at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. The seventh-ranked Bearcats secured a decisive 172-91 victory in the dual meet, providing a perfect send-off before the post-season begins in earnest.

The meet served as a vital tune-up for the squad, who started the afternoon with back-to-back top finishes in the 200-yard medley relay. While the swimming lanes saw dominant displays from Vova Garvysh and Tyson Upton, the diving well featured a consistent showing from Moseley as he navigated the final home meet of his collegiate career.

Moseley showcased his technical precision across both boards, starting with a strong score of 351.00 in the one-meter diving discipline. He returned to the platforms to record a score of 187.50 in the three-meter event, securing vital points to help cement the wide margin of victory for the hosts. His performance comes off the back of a resilient senior season where he has frequently provided leadership in the diving well.

With the regular season now concluded, Moseley and the Bearcats turn their attention toward the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships. The team will travel to Evansville, Indiana, for the four-day event beginning on February 10, looking to improve on their second-place finish from the previous year.
