The Tigers' victory was built on a clinical attacking display led by the impressive performance of Jahkenya Trott, who was deservedly named the Most Valuable Player (MVP). Trott was the game's top scorer, netting a massive 26 goals for the champions. She was supported by twin sister Jahtuere Trott who scored 12 goals, which earned the Best Attacker award, and Demiqua Daniels added 2 goals, she was also named the Best Defender.
Storm Surge put up a determined fight but ultimately could not match the Tigers' goal haul. Their scoring was led by Inshan-nae Smith, who netted 15 goals, with contributions from Rihanna Reddicks with 9 goals and Selah Tuzo added 3 goals.
Storm Surge saw their MVP award go to Debre Evans, while Tuzo was named Best Attacker, and Elishae Smith earned the Best Defender title for their efforts in the challenging match. The 13-goal margin confirms the Tigers' intent to retain their championship status this season.
