Lady Rams & Phoenix Flames Dominate at Bernard Park

The latest round of Netball Bermuda action at Bernard Park delivered high-scoring victories in the senior divisions, with North Village Lady Rams and Phoenix Flames posting dominant scores, while the junior categories showcased thrillingly close contests and impressive individual performances.

The 16&Under Division saw a massive result as the North Village Lady Rams defeated Dandy Stars 54-3. The Lady Rams' attack was led by Dani Brown (22) and S'Mai Tyrrell (19), who also took the MVP award. Kse Jennings (9) and Saniyah Govia (4) contributed to the win, with Dani Brown named Best Attacker and Dylan Outerbridge Best Defender. For Dandy Stars, goals came from Izzy Hassell (1), Kiera Trott-Smith (1), and Xyla Morton-Davis (1), with Kiera Trott-Smith earning the MVP award.

In the other 16&U fixture, Phoenix Fire secured a victory over Storm 21-14. Shiloh Simmons (13) led Phoenix Fire's scoring, supported by Caillia Joel (4) and A'meerah Richardson-Swan (4). Shiloh Simmons was the Best Attacker for the winners, while Zyari Lawrence was named MVP. Storm's goals were shared by Nala Richardson (7), Sah-qurity Warner (5), and Diya Steede (2), with Vongai Benza named MVP for Storm.

The First Division saw the Phoenix Flames post the highest score of the day, defeating Storm Nexgen 49-24. Kammie Mills was the standout scorer with a huge haul of 37 goals, earning the Best Attacker title. Hailey Trott (5) was the MVP, supported by Sydney Santos (5) and Caillia Joel (2). For Storm Nexgen, goals came from J'zari Dillas-Zuill (10), Jamir Hatherley (9), and Malaysia Furbert (5).

In the division's second match, Atlantic Aces 37 defeated DC Diamonds 30. Jasmine Mapp (20) and Charlotte Evans (17) scored all of the Aces' goals, with Mapp named Best Attacker and Gemma Most taking the MVP award. For the Diamonds, Cindi-Anna Darrell (23) led the charge, supported by Sioma Rudo (7), with Ja'miyah Johnston earning the MVP and Best Defender titles.

The 13&Under Division delivered two exciting matches. Storm Lightning 12 were held to a draw by Storm Thunder 12. For Lightning, goals came from Sophia Oduori (6), Soleil Steede (5), and Eliana Trott (1), with Sariah Grant named MVP. Storm Thunder was led by Honor White (8), who was also named MVP, with support from Xela Hall (2) and Elsie Purcell (2).

In the second match, North Village Lady Rams narrowly defeated Dandy Stars 9-8. The Lady Rams' win was secured by goals from Olivia Dale (4), Sanaa Hodsoll (3), Davi Wade (2), and Jayla Woodley-Herbert (1), with CeLeigh Bridgewater taking the MVP award. For Dandy Stars, Knalah Thompson (7) led the scoring and was named both Best Attacker and MVP.

The 10&Under Division focused on individual player recognition. For North Village Lady Rams, Ty-Lae Trott was named MVP, Aria Tucker Best Attacker, and Rayn Wilson Best Defender. For Dandy Stars, Aalaysia Watson was MVP, A'nylah Tucker Best Attacker, and Caie Rogers Best Defender.
